Welcome to the Web site of the Institut des sciences de la mer de Rimouski Oceanographic Data Management System (ISMER-ODMS). The ISMER-ODMS is a computer application that allows users to obtain oceanographic data collected by the scientists of l'Institut des sciences de la mer de Rimouski (ISMER).

The original Oceanographic Data Management System (ODMS) was developped at the Maurice-Lamontagne Institute by the Departement of Fisheries and Oceans - Quebec Region where it has been in use for over 15 years.  DFO graciously provided ISMER with  all the necessary components of the ODMS  (including many pages of this WEB site) so that  we could set up a data management system of our own.  You can obtain further information on the ODMS by visiting the St-Laurence Observatory WEB site.
